The Seamstresses can add sleeves, remove sleeves, add straps, reduce trains, insert lace up backs, add extra detail, you name it, Ibi can can do it!

You are welcome to come and browse anytime but if you would like to try on dresses, or talk in depth about your styling ideas and wedding party attire, an APPOINTMENT is usually necessary as our styling suite can get very busy! 

We usually recommend shopping at least 8-12 months ahead. Most wedding gowns can take around 4 months to arrive when ordered. Therefore, it is ideal to have that much time, as well as allowing extra for any alterations your gown may need. Many gowns are stocked with the designers and also an express production service for additional charges can be offered.

If you are short of time we have an extensive range of sample gowns that can be purchased off the rails the very same day at a discounted price!

Please inquire if your wedding date is close so we can better assist you. We offer a free storage facility for advanced purchases up to 2 years in advance!

It is very important for our styling team to provide the best service, we generally find that too many people and opinions make the experience overwhelming and harder for you to choose a gown that YOU love and achieve your personal bridal vision.

We have seating for up to 3 people in the showroom and recommend that children do not attend appointments if possible.

Diamond Occasion offer wedding gowns in every price range from £295-£2,000, and we do our best to work with every bride’s budget with payment plans offered. Please consider alteration costs (not included in the gown price) accessories, shoes, veils and jewellery when budgeting for your special day.

Our sample gowns, available for all brides to try on, mainly range in from Uk size 8-26. Bridal sizes typically run slightly smaller than standard sizes, so please keep this in mind. Most of our bridal gowns and special occasion dresses are available to order in sizes Uk 4-32+.

Alterations are an additional charge. Alterations vary depending on the style of gown, the fabric and detail, and the alterations needed. We feel that alterations are personal and an important aspect of the bridal gown experience. Quality is key. There is no such thing as ‘Free alterations’ you will have paid a hidden alteration fee in the original price of the gown.

All dresses can be purchased either in person or over the phone or by email. However, since all sales are final, we encourage you to visit our store to make your purchase. This will allow you to try on all the different styles of gowns to determine which is the most flattering style for you. You will also be able to utilize the expertise from our Bridal Consultants and get the full service that you deserve in preparing for your wedding day.

We recommend anything from 9 months in advance to ensure style and size availability for your wedding party, after you have confirmed suit style choice by full payment we will then schedule further fitting appointments leading up to your special day.

We can however hire suits up to 24 hours before an event date depending on size, stock availability.

Unfortunately we do not hire dresses due to the cost of dry cleanig and alterations the price would be more than what we sell our gowns for!

Unfortunately not. Our suits are ordered from the designers and can be tailored  privately.

Terms and Conditions and Returns Policy

Customers are asked to carefully read our terms and conditions below.

PAYMENT OF ORDER
Customers and required to pay a NON- REFUNDABLE deposit on the date of ordering all bridal gowns and accessories.

MONIES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE TO OTHER ORDERS. ONCE GOODS ARE ORDERED YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS IF YOU SIMPLY CHANGE YOUR MIND (Sale of Goods Act 1979).

No goods may be removed from the premises until full payment of the order has been fulfilled in cases where a cheque is paid goods will not be released until the cheque has been cleared by the bank.

Goods ordered that are not available from stock normally take 20 weeks for delivery, unless a specific time limit is stated in writing on this order. Gowns requiring extra length or special measures are subject to a surcharge, carried forward to the customer. This surcharge will be added to the cost of the goods above.

ALL GOWNS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF DIAMOND OCCASION UNTIL PAID FOR IN FULL.

Customers should retain their sales contracts and any receipts as proof of purchase and sure to have read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS NOTICE and fully understand its requirements. DIAMOND OCCASION has such terms to protect its business regardless of your circumstances.

ALL ITEMS PURCHASED ARE NON-RETURNABLE/REFUNDABLE. CANCELLATION OF ORDERS CUSTOMERS WHO CANCEL THEIR CONTRACT ARE NOT ENTITLED TO A RUFUND OF ANY MONIES ALREADY PAID AND INCLUDING THE CANCELLATION DATE. Dress orders will still have to be paid for in FULL if the wedding is cancelled for whatever reason costs will still be incurred to the suppliers and to Diamond Occasion regardless of any circumstance.

SALE GOWNS /ACCESSORIES, BOUGHT CANNOT BE RETURNED OR ANY MONIES RUFUNDED SOLD AS SEEN.

For reasons of hygiene all accessories tiaras, hair slides, veils, jewellery, fascinators & hats which have been removed from the premises once paid for cannot be refunded or exchanged.
